Three litres of vegetable oil spread over a sixteen by three metre vertical canvas surface. The oil maintains a slow and invasive process of expansion towards the base of the canvas.

Rodríguez-Méndez (Pontevedra, 1968) has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. He works on projects involving different languages that intervene in the immateriality of the material and the word. Languages that analyse and respond to the elusive principles of sculpture and the essential and physical experience of the human being.
